Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026. This policy covers simmercooksyourgoals.com, the Simmer beta list, and the Simmer: Goal Pets app.
The short version
- On this website we collect one thing: the email address you type into the beta form, and only if you ask us to.
- We use it only to invite you to the beta and tell you about it. We never sell or share it, and we don't use it for ads.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies, no tracking pixels.
- You can remove your email at any time, instantly, on the sign-up page, or by emailing us.
- The app keeps your goals on your phone. We don't have servers that receive them.
What we collect, and why

We don't collect your name, phone number, location, contacts or payment details on this site. We don't store your IP address.
Information collected automatically
We don't use cookies or analytics. Two services that run this website see limited technical information so it can work and stay safe:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the beta list. Like any web host, it handles your IP address, browser type and the pages you request to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Cloudflare Turnstile is the "are you human?" check on the form. It looks at browser and device signals and your IP address to tell people from bots. It does not show you ads or track you across other sites.
Both act as our service providers: they process this information on our behalf and may not use it for their own advertising. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and Turnstile's privacy addendum.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except the service providers above and, when we send beta emails, an email delivery service that sends on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months. Other parties do not collect personal information about your online activities over time and across websites through our site.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We don't track you across websites, so there's nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to turn off. We treat those signals as a request not to sell or share your information, which we already never do.
Your choices and rights (including California residents)
- See the information we have about you: email us and we'll tell you (at most, your email address and the date you signed up).
- Correct it: sign up again with the right email and remove the wrong one, or email us.
- Delete it: use Remove my email on the sign-up page (instant), or email us. We'll confirm within 10 business days.
- Unsubscribe: every beta email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor it within 10 business days.
- We will never treat you differently for using any of these rights.
To make a request, email privacy@simmercooksyourgoals.com from the address you signed up with. Someone you authorize can also contact us for you.
Children
The beta list is for people 13 and older, and the form asks you to confirm that. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 gave us an email address, email us and we'll delete it.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS only. The beta list lives in a private database that can't be read from the website at all: only the developer can export it, from an account protected by two-factor sign-in. The form accepts only requests from this website that pass the human check, and stores nothing beyond what's listed above. No method is perfectly secure, but keeping almost nothing is the best protection there is.
The app
Simmer: Goal Pets keeps your goals, pets and progress in your phone's own storage. The app has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and it doesn't send your goals to us. Deleting the app deletes that data. If the app ever adds a feature that sends information off your phone, we'll update this policy first and ask before turning it on.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use the email you've already given us, we'll email you about it before it takes effect.
